Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Remote / Hilversum, the Netherlands)
We are an International Tech Scale-Up, based in Hilversum, the Netherlands, that is working on a next-generation observability product with an international team. We are on a mission to ease the complexities of running and evolving the digital enterprise and offer a platform that acts as the central nervous system of large-scale complex IT environments. We are building the best Observability product that helps prevent outages.
We are looking for a senior Machine Learning engineer with enthusiasm for observability and the cloud native space to join us on this journey.
What you will do:
Design, implement, deploy and support online ML models
Improve StackState’s Autonomous Anomaly Detector, which analyses metric streams for anomalies with zero configuration
Work in a cross-functional team to design and implement features that help SRE’s detect, investigate, and resolve problems in their IT systems.
Participate in supporting StackState’s SaaS environment to ensure it meets targets for performance, robustness, and correctness
What we require:
5+years of experience as a software engineer.
3+ years of functional programming development experience.
Experience developing, running, and supporting ML models in production.
Strong mathematical background with the ability to understand scientific ML papers
Experience with anomaly detection is a plus.
Experience with Python and Scala is a plus.
Knowledge of modern DevOps practices.
Experience working in a start-up environment.
