Who we are looking for

We formed a new team focused on building the best Observability product experience for SRE’s and DevOps engineers using Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure. We are working to bring this to market as a SaaS and need the help of a senior software engineer with enthusiasm for observability and the cloud-native space and with a keen eye for correctness and performance.

What you will do

  • Design and implement deep data collection techniques with Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure environments.

  • Build an eBPF (extended Berkeley Packet Filter) integration to collect important network metrics and events straight from the Linux kernel.

  • Extend the client’s Go agent to capture data from eBPF, Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure.

  • Extend customer's Scala backend to process and analyze that data.

  • And possibly extend the client’s product to visualize that data.

What we require

  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer.

  • 2+ years of development experience with Go.

  • Development experience with Java or Scala is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Python is a plus.

  • 1+ years of automation experience with Kubernetes.

  • 1+ years of automation experience with AWS.

  • Automation experience with Azure is a plus.

  • Development practices methodologies and tools, specifically Scrum.

  • Knowledge of modern DevOps practices.

  • Experience working in a start-up environment.
